Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 joins the Dubai Police Force.

The all-new Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 joins the Dubai police force. The new Land Cruiser LC 300 SUVs have become part of the Dubai police, Abu Dhabi police and Civil Defence fleet in UAE. 

Apart from Dubai’s skyscrapers, the middle-eastern city is also famous for its Police force with their fleet of ultra-rare and exotic supercars.

Their newly acquired Land Cruiser LC300s will join the Dubai police force consisting of Aston Martin One-77, Lykan HyperSport, Audi R8s, Lamborghini Aventador, Bentley Continental GTs and few more exotics.

However, we are unsure regarding the variant of the Land Cruiser LC300 that will join the Dubai Police. As of now, Toyota offers the land Cruiser LC300 with two different engine options. There is a torquey yet frugal 3.3-litre V6 turbocharged diesel engine with 308hp and 700Nm of torque, then there is the more powerful 3.5-litre V6 turbocharged petrol engine with 414hp and 650Nm of torque. 

Channelling power on both variants is a smooth and quick-shifting 10-speed torque convertor gearbox. 

Despite the modern engine, like the previous generation Land Cruiser LC200, the latest LC300 also boasts a traditional body-on-frame chassis. However, Toyota has put all their experience and knowledge to make the platform stiffer yet lighter than before, along with it Toyota has added their advanced electronic suite and luxury to meet and exceed all expectations of its potential buyer.

The new Land Cruiser LC300 also comes with Toyota’s latest active driver aid systems like lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, semi-autonomous driving etc. 

Though Toyota Land Cruiser comes equipped well for all situations, we are not sure what kind of accessories Dubai Police may add to serve their purpose of preserving Law and order.

The new Toyota Land Cruiser is undoubtedly one of the toughest vehicles currently out on sale. The inclusion of the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 is a much-needed addition to the Dubai police force rather than a publicity stunt.
