Honda’s new 7-seater concept car is here.

Honda’s N7X is a three-row MPV concept car, which could possibly be a replacement for the ageing Honda BR-V in near future. The new Honda N7X concept car was unveiled in Indonesia.

Visually, the new Honda N7X concept car looks more like a production-ready version with styling cues from the latest Honda cars like the new City, HR-V and CR-V. The only give away that this is a concept car is its premium looking large 10-spoke alloy wheels.

Compared to MPV like Honda BR-V, the new Honda N7X concept looks brawnier and muscular with its bold and upright front-end. Further aiding SUV like stance are pair of wide headlamps and a clamshell bonnet.

The side profile is dominated by strong shoulder lines and large wheel arches, while the black cladding that runs the entire length of the vehicle adds to the rugged appearance. At the back, there is a pair of neat and simple tail lamps with signature LED elements.

Despite the SUV like stance, the Honda N7X is based on the latest generation of Honda City. So, expect a similar set of engine and gearbox options.

The new Honda N7X will be initially sold in Indonesia and is most likely to come with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which is either mated to a manual gearbox or a CVT gearbox.

The new Honda N7X is a handsome looking vehicle, and we expect the production-ready version of the Honda N7X to be a runaway success in Indonesia. However, we are not sure whether Honda will consider the N7X concept car for the Middle Eastern market.
