We have seen what a sedan from Tesla can do to million-dollar supercars on a ¼-mile drag race, and that Tesla is just a 5-seater family sedan!

The latest of the petrol-powered regular supercars are pushing north of 700hp and super lightweight versions or special edition of those are tuned to put down 800+hp. Even the record-breaking petrol powered “hypercars” are pushing just above 1500-1600+hp.

We are seeing numerous claims from different electric supercars manufacturers about their prototype supercars pushing north of 2000hp while having real-life range beyond 300miles.

These new generation of electric supercars are beyond any yardstick of this era for sure, but most of them do lack a sense of connection that only a petrol-powered supercar can give.

The two future electric supercars that stand out from the crowd is the Pininfarina Battista and Lotus Evija.

Both these electric supercars carry close to 2000hp each and are waiting to be unleashed when the time comes.

Where time takes us in future of performance automotive is just unbelievable and I am happy to inform you that the new generation of supercars is closer than ever before.
