Pagani Huayra Tricolore
Pagani has unveiled a new limited-edition variant of their Huayra supercar, the Pagani Huayra Tricolore.
Pagani
has made the Huayra Tricolore to commemorate the 60th anniversary of
Frecce Tricolori, an aerobatic demonstration unit of Italian Air Force.
Pagani
Huayra Tricolore proudly wears a bespoke livery based on the Italian flag, it
also sports more aggressive front bumper, revised air intakes, slightly uprated
diffuser, and a more prominent spoiler for better aerodynamic performance.
The
interior also carries few bespoke elements like Aluminium and Carbon-fibre gear
lever, hand-stitched leather interior which reflects the exterior theme.
The
engine has also been revised to pump out 826hp and 1100Nm from 6.0L
twin-turbocharged AMG sourced V12 engine.
The
power figures won’t seem bonkers in 2020 but we have to keep in mind that the
whole car weighs just 1270 kgs.
Only
3 units will be made for a price of US$ 6.7 million/unit. To put that into
perspective, a Bugatti Chiron costs US$ 2.99 million, that means for the price
of one Pagani Huayra Tricolore, you can buy two Bugatti Chirons and still have
money left to buy enough fuel to go around the earth 50 times in each Bugatti
Chirons!
At this point, if you think buying Bugatti Chiron makes more sense, both those cars are not your cup of tea. The Pagani’s pricing may seem absurd but only if you think it as a car, but for those people who can afford it, Pagani Huayra Tricolore is an art.
People
who buy it will barely do 500 miles on it. After driving till they are
satisfied, they will stash it away in their private showcase for other rich
people to envy while we munch on numbers.
