Bugatti Bolide- Ready to devour tracks

Bugatti is known to push the boundaries further and farther than any other automotive manufacturer in the world. Every new car Bugatti makes is targeted to reach bonkers numbers and to break world records.

Bugatti Bolide is no different to this drama, but this time Bugatti has its sights squared at racetracks-especially the Nürburgring. Bugatti claims that the Bolide can lap the Nürburgring in just 5 minutes and 23.1 seconds.

As Bugatti Bolide is based on Bugatti Chiron hyper car, a significant amount of engineering is put into weight reduction and aerodynamics. The resulting Bugatti Bolide thus weighs just 1240 Kg without any fluids and driver.

0-100kph is achieved in just 2.17 seconds whereas 0-200kph is done in 4.36 seconds. To put that into perspective, the last gen BMW M5 does 0-100kph under 4.4 seconds.

To achieve these mind-numbing numbers, Bugatti’s engineers took the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ engine and engineered it to digest 110 octane racing fuel. With the regular 91 octane fuel Bugatti Bolide is capable of 1578hp but with the racing fuel it can deliver an astronomical 1825hp and 1850Nm of torque.

Talking about design, Bugatti Bolide looks more like a spaceship with all those aero aiding elements. It looks nothing like the Bugatti Chiron that it is based on and is also 300mm lower at just 995mm tall.

As of now, Bugatti has left the price tag for our imagination.
